Naše poslanstvo je vodenje svetovne skupine Global Finance and Accounting, ki uporablja globalne procese in kontrole, ki Sonyu zagotavljajo funkcionalne, stroškovno učinkovite in prilagodljive rešitve.
Kot analitik zakonskih predpisov, ki je odgovoren za Adriatik države, boste sodelovali z več globalnimi zainteresiranimi stranmi, da bi zagotovili finančno zakonsko poročanje družbe Sony Global Finance & Accounting.
To vključuje podporo, usklajevanje in izvrševanje regulativnega in statutarnega postopka za Sony podružnici v Sloveniji in Hrvaški ter Sony predstavništvi v Bosni in Srbiji. Oseba bo prevzela pomembno vlogo v zvezi z računovodskimi izkazi in pripravo drugih lokalnih poročil, usklajevanje in analize, poročanje o dajatvah, neposrednih in posrednih davkov.
Postopki poročanja analitika zakonskih predpisov imajo ključno vlogo v globalnem oddelku RTR (Record to Report), ki deluje kot  glavni kontakt  za finančne ekipe v elektronskem poslovanju za Adriatik države.

Our Mission is to operate a world class Global Finance and Accounting team utilizing global processes and controls to provide Sony with an efficient, cost effective and scalable solution.

As a Statutory Analyst with responsibility over Adriatic countries, you will work in co-ordination with multiple Global stakeholders (SGTS, GTO, Sony Corp.) to deliver the financial statutory reporting of Sony Global Finance & Accounting under the umbrella of a Global Process Model which spans across multiple countries and time zones.

This includes supporting, coordination of, and executing the regulatory & statutory process of the Statutory Cluster for Slovenia and Croatia and the representative offices of Bosnia and Serbia such as taking important role in terms of financial statements and other local reports preparation, reconciliation & analysis of Branches accounting, levy reporting, and supporting direct & indirect taxes. 

The statutory reporting process plays a critical role within Record to Report (RTR), acting as a key contact point for the finance teams in the electronics business for Adriatic countries.

The role implies responsibilities and accountability for all Statutory related finance matters within a country which belongs to the Cluster operation. Also it will support joint responsibilities within a cluster allowing for back up of each team member, and rotation of activities as well as developing knowledge on distinct area’s to become a specialist across the Clusters.
Communicate, contact and plan the service delivery of business partners, which deliver Statutory related services on behalf of Sony Electronics Cluster operation.

Given time zone differences, will need to contribute to decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
You will be reporting to the East Cluster Lead statutory manager.
Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making
Responsibility for the following areas:
1) Taking part in local Financial Statement preparation in cooperation with local EY and Statutory team members - securing finance documentation in compliance with local Accountancy regulations and requirements. 
2) The booking of statutory differences between US and Local GAAP in Statutory SAP environment would be also a crucial part of statutory preparation and checking the monthly equivalences of Main and Statutory Ledger’ balances in both SAP environments  incl. monthly reconciliation of local books in Special Purpose Ledger with Main Ledger .
3) Playing a role of local window persons towards various Authorities in Adriatic countries. Collecting information for authorities in cooperation with Statutory streams and preparing overviews and explanations. Tax Audit-works due to tax inspectors’ requests. Overall and Direct (mainly VAT) support in Tax Investigations by collecting and preparing final explanations in local language. Representing company's interests to ensure the document collection requested by tax inspectors in time and well.
4) Local taxation knowledge must be also thorough and up-to-date in order to represent the company’s interest with a properly professional communication at tax office or during tax audits.
5) Ability to support Statutory colleagues in other East and Central European countries in case of their absence in order to keep official statutory submission deadline. Experience in Statutory requirements fulfillment in other East and Central European countries will be an advantage to complete this task.
6) To contribute to the East Statutory Finance cluster jobs /activities covering countries in East and Central European region, by close cooperation, knowledge sharing following similar processes and Way of Working in Statutory finance area 
7) Liaise with key parties such as internal and possible external audit, and other 3rd party contracted vendors for tax returns and other tax support. 
8) Ensure effective operation of third party engagements with key parties for tax reporting and other statutory reporting.
9) Preparing local statutory reports (apart from FS, VAT and Intrastate), taking full responsibility for accuracy and timely submission and the collection of car tax details.
10) Support VAT team request on indirect tax reporting such as VAT returns assisting in VAT tax return preparation by providing necessary data to VAT central team.
11) Deliver financially accurate financial information, compliance, efficient proactive finance support and technical finance expertise to internal customers.
12) Support Global Tax Office (GTO) requests with the provision of general ledger (GL) information and for the preparation of tax returns.
13) Support Sony Global Treasury Services (SGTS) requests with the provision of GL information.
14) An active role in the month-end close activities, such as preparation of journals for posting or rebooking for statutory purposes ,  cooperation with Central Finance in case of any problem or question. 
15) There also can be a request in preparing supportive documentation for statutory purposes in the payroll process and supporting the central payroll reconciliation procedure, if necessary. 
16) Moreover, strong involvement in various central European projects is also required.
17) Also an active assistance for local colleagues in Romania Branch is also needed, if necessary.
18) It is also expected that this role will be supportive and act as advisory body for local sales and marketing colleagues being able to explain local legal and tax legislation constrains supporting their sales and marketing activities with providing the relevant taxation background in their decision-making.
19) Ensure all finance and commercial activities in the Country and Cluster comply with the effective application of agreed Sony Corporate Accounting Policy, SOX Control Procedures, local statutory requirements and Governance Systems.
20) Support document retention in line with Sony policy and legal requirements. Implement and enforce standardized finance & accounting processes and procedures in Adriatic countries.
21) Ensuring that all local finance/accounting documentation in Adriatic countries will be stored safely, in order and available for eventual authority inspection.
22) Identify and implement process improvements to continually balance efficiency and improve service to the front line business - aligned with the principle of the Global Process Model.
23) Optimize tools and systems available to provide automated financial and operational information.
24) Mitigate, advise, communicate and resolve any issues which might affect Finance Accounting performance levels or Countries and Cluster information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Degree, BSC/BS/BA on Faculty of Economy and Administration and/or Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent) or equivalent relevant experience desired
-2-3 years accounting and taxation work experience is a must
- Previous experience managing a 3rd party vendor is a plus
- Expertise within in at least one of the core finance process areas of record-to-report, purchase-to-pay, Logistics or controlling
- Preparation of statutory accounts to filing stage, under local GAAP is essential
- Expertise of SAP ERP System 
Relevant work experience in fast moving industry is a plus
- Excellent knowledge in Excel
- Fluent business English is a must
